Right now, millions of children are in danger. They face violence, disease, hunger and the chaos of war and disaster. Unicef ensures more children get life-saving food, vaccinations, education and protection than anyone else.
Unicef needs the courage and the action of ordinary people, like you, like me.

Half Marathon for Yemen
Joseph Mekail (Joe, for everybody), is a friend of mine.
I have more of the double of his age. Still, we meet casually 5 years ago because we were exchanging some football ticket. We support the same team (Arsenal), and we live both in London.
Since the day we build a special relationship, like an uncle (me, yes..me!) and nephew.
We become friends, and we share some happiness (and a lot of depressing ) moment of our football team. Exchanging a lot of messages and meet almost every time for a coffee before Arsenal play at home.
Joe is a good guy, and now he wants to help kids in Yemen. A Country hardly hit by the civil war and from the Covid-19.
So it’s a pleasure to me try to help Joe to raise some founds running with his friend a half marathon.
Unfortunately, I cannot help him running next to him, but I will use every social network account and this blog to push him to hit his target.
So Joe is running a half marathon for kids in Yemen for Unicef UK because of the destructive humanitarian crises and we could help him just opening this link and donate either just a small amount.
Me and my best friend will be running a half marathon in order to raise funds for kids in Yemen. More than three years of fighting has pushed Yemen to the brink of collapse. The children there are currently caught up in one of the world’s most complex and destructive humanitarian crises and are paying a heavy price. We will attempt the half marathon from our home in Twickenham through to Craven Cottage and finishing the remainder of the race following the River Thames.
